Description
American Male VO - e-learning - 5 minutes.
This job posting is for e-learning courses of less than five minutes in length. The courses may be used internally or externally. The rate includes delivery of the finished audio within 24 hours of receipt of the script in whatever format works best for you, the client.
Also included are all talent-induced retakes due to missed words/pronunciations/etc. as well as the first round of client induced retakes.
Additional rounds of client-induced retakes are 100 Euro per round, regardless of retake length.
If the project is medical or extremely technical in nature, the rate is increased to 500 euro for the first 5 minutes.
Instructions
This part is relatively simple. Send me a script of less than 750 words letting me know the following things and I'll return the finished audio to you within 24 hours of receipt of the script:
- The intended audience
- The desired delivery tone
- Pronunciation of any brand specific names/words
- How to say acronyms. For example, is "SNAFU" said as "snah-foo", "ess-en-ay-eff-you", or "situation normal all..." you get the idea. 🙂
- Desired file type and bit depth

How do you figure your retake pricing structure?
The first round of client-induced retakes is always free as inadvertent mistakes do happen. Additional rounds are charged in such a way that; smaller companies pay more attention to ensuring that the scripts are correct (and properly reviewed by the proper people) prior to sending them over, and larger companies don't care as 100 Euro is less than a rounding error to them.
